Stress is very common in adults and teenagers these days. Some people have stress for their studies or some people have stress for their relationships, loss in business and loss of a job, etc. Stress is very harmful to the human body it affects many body parts and their functions. Due to stress sometimes people kill themself. We should know that how can we fight against stress, it is very important for everybody. And in this blog, here are some bad effects of stress on the human body.
First, we should understand that what is stress? Stress is normal for our brain, and it is very important for us also. It keeps us motivated, alert and ready for any situation. Stress is harmful when a person faces continuous problems and challenges without relaxation between stressor, as a result, it becomes harmful for us and our body. Now take a look at some bad effects.

1. Headaches
Stress effects first on our brain and stress can trigger headaches and intensify tension headaches.

2. Heartburn
When somebody takes stress then stress increases the production of stomach acid, which leads to heartburn and it can make it worse.

3. Rapid breathing
When we are in stress, the muscles that help us to breathe, it tense up due to stress. Which can leave us short of breath and it cause rapid breathing.

4. Pounding heart
When we take stress then, adrenal glands release the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline, which revs our heartbeats.

5. High blood sugar
Stress causes our liver to release the extra amount of glucose into our bloodstream. This can increase the chance of type 2 diabetes over time.

6. High blood pressure
Stress hormones tighten blood vessels, which can raise our blood pressure.

7. Increase the risk of heart attack
Over time, high blood pressure and an increased heart rate damage our arteries, which can lead to a heart attack.

8. Insomnia
Stress makes it harder for a person to fall asleep and stay asleep, which can lead to insomnia.

9. Weakened immune system
Long term stress weakens our immune system’s defense which means it makes us an easy target for germs and bacteria.
