Winter is here and many people are just planning their winter holidays, they are not looking at their health. In winters the risk of getting flu, cold and many other health problems increases because, in winters, day becomes shorter and night becomes longer and it is very hard to find the best time to eat food. And this can weaken our immune system and due to weakening immune system many health problems can arise in our body like flue, cold, etc. So if you do not want to sick in these winters then follow the diet which will help you to fight against these bad bacterias and the diet is given below:

1 Eat iron-rich food

The first point is to eat iron-rich food. Iron is very important for our body because it does help our body in many ways like it carries oxygen throughout the body for producing red blood cells. Deficiency of iron can cause anemia. And there many foods that contain iron like spinach, legumes, pumpkin seeds, shellfish, broccoli, etc. By adding these things in your daily diet can give you the right amount of iron.

2 Eat eggs and fishes

If you add eggs and fishes in your diet then it will give you various health benefits like it will increase the good cholesterol and it will protect your heart from various heart diseases.

3 Track your card intake

In winters our desire for having carbs increases. And we want to curl up in a cozy blanket and sleep. In winter this happens because the level of serotonin drop that is why our body craves carbs. And if we too many carbs then it can harm our body so track your carbs intake.

4 Increase the intake of vitamin C

Increase the intake of vitamin C, it helps you to boost your immune system. Vitamin C also contains powerful antioxidants, which is vital for protecting your body from various health issues. And also take care of your skin. So if you want a healthy immune system and healthy skin then add food items in your diet which contains vitamin C like kiwi, guava, papaya, strawberry, lemon, broccoli, and orange.

5 Add more zinc

For a healthy immune system, you should add more zinc to your diet. Low intake of zinc can weaken immunity which will make you sick and an easy target for many diseases. It also helps us to grow and repair body tissues. So add this food item in your diet for a better intake of zinc like seeds, meat, legumes, and whole grains.
